These are the terms (the "agreement") governing your attendance at and participation in any NAMED2015 activities or overall conference (the "Event").

By registering for the Event you agree to these terms, which form a binding legal contract between NAMED2015, United States Mennonite Brethren, and the registered attendee or participant ("you").  If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person attending is aware of these terms and accepts them.  By completing the registration on behalf of another individual you are warranting that you have made the attendee or participant aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.

Attendee Requirements

Admittance. Your registration entitles you to admittance to the Event for which you have registered. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance (includes but is not limited to: travel and accommodation expenses) shall be borne solely by you, and NAMED2015 shall have no liability for such costs.

Use of Likeness. By attending the Event you acknowledge and agree to grant NAMED2015 and USMB the right at the Event to record, film, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to NAMED2015 includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.

Event Content. You acknowledge and agree that NAMED2015, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Event, including but not limited to, the Event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time.

Named 2015 Conference seeks to provide a Christ-centered environment that is free from:

  • Possession and/or use of drugs (including marijuana), alcohol and tobacco products.
  • Intimidation, threats, disruptive behavior, reckless endangerment and physical violence to self/others.
  • Weapons and destructive devise (ie fireworks) of any kind.
  • Theft or damage to properly (personal and public).
  • Profane and abusive language or clothing.
  • Sexual harassment and/or sexual misconduct.

We expect all conference registrants, volunteers, and exhibitors to abide by all local, state, and federal law, as well as convention facility and hotel guidelines, observe the conference schedule, respect all requests from NAMED2015 staff and observe event curfews. It is our hope that students and leaders attending our conference serve as models to others of maturity, thoughtfulness, gratefulness, and Christ-likeness.

Leaders bringing students to NAMED2015 are expected to enforce these guidelines with their own students and make Named 2015 staff aware immediately of any concerns with other students, adults, or groups.

Requirements of Each Registrant

Named 2015 expects registrants to be respectful of the great diversity represented from within the Christian community at our conference— ethnic backgrounds, race, etc. It is our desire that our conference and all attendees model unity and Christ-like attitudes and behavior in all settings. Should a registrant choose to not abide by these guidelines, NAMED2015 has the option to contact the group leader, local police, parents and church or ministry leadership and/or refuse further access to NAMED2015. It will be the responsibility of the group leader or parents to supervise and/or transport the registrant home at their own expense.

Safety Tips

  1. Stay with your group.
  2. Stay away from areas that appear dangerous.
  3. Never display large amounts of money in public.
  4. If you are out in the city and feel threatened or that you are being followed, try to go to a well-lighted area where there are groups of people and call your group leader or the police immediately.
  5. Never open your hotel room to strangers. Call the front desk to confirm if you are in doubt as to the identity of any hotel staff member.

Medical Care

If you or someone in your group needs medical care while in the Hyatt Regency, please contact the nurse on site. Anything that can’t be handled by the nurse will be referred to a local medical provider. If you are off-site, please seek care from a local medical provider or call 911.

Cancellation, Substitution, and Lost/Broken/Stolen Item Policy

NAMED2015 is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or broken items or materials of an attendee.  

Refunds or cancellations are limited to a total of $149 per person after the registration deadline of March 1, 2015 (plus a service fee).  Refund requests must be submitted in writing either through a letter or email.  Telephone or word of mouth WILL NOT be honored.  Send your request to named2015@gmail.com. There will be no refunds once the group arrives to the hotel to check in or register.   

There is also a $25 service charge for each change associated with a registration or room arrangement after March 1, 2015.  After March 1, 2015 attendee or room changes made to any attendee registration can be done until the Event starts for a $25.00 administrative service charge.  But space and time is limited so it will be up to the discretion of the NAMED2015 planning team for changes and assigning the administration service fee.

Weather or Other Reason for Cancelling the Conference

In case of an act of God or other reason the NAMED2015 planning team reserves the right to cancel the conference at anytime.  All parties will be notified and refunds will be given after expenses are taken care of.  


Any adult, whether they attend the sessions or other conference options still would cost the full amount of $299 per attendee.  

NAMED2015's failure to exercise any right provided for herein shall not be deemed a waiver of any further rights hereunder. NAMED2015 shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond NAMED2015's reasonable control. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that this Agreement shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable. This Agreement is not assignable, transferable or sublicensable by you except with NAMED2015's prior written consent. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Colorado's courts. A party that substantially prevails in an action brought under this Agreement is entitled to recover from the other party its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs. Both parties agree that this Agreement is the complete and exclusive statement of the mutual understanding of the parties and supersedes and cancels all previous written and oral agreements, communications and other understandings relating to the subject matter of this Agreement, and that all modifications must be in a writing signed by both parties, except as otherwise provided herein. No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment is created as a result of this Agreement and you acknowledge that you do not have any authority of any kind to bind NAMED2015 in any respect whatsoever.
